Debra Chimwala
Student Practicum MSW, RSW
If you find yourself overthinking, feeling overwhelmed, or struggling to manage anxiety, low mood, or focus, you are not alone. Many people are trying to keep up with daily responsibilities while quietly feeling stuck, exhausted, or frustrated with themselves.
Therapy can help you better understand these patterns and build strategies that actually work in your day-to-day life.
About Debra
Debra is a Registered Social Worker with over ten years of experience supporting individuals across the lifespan in community and home care settings. Her background includes working in home care and group home environments, where she developed strong skills in supporting individuals through a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and life challenges.
During her practicum, she has developed a strong focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), with particular interest in supporting clients experiencing anxiety, depression, and ADHD-related concerns.
Her work is centered on helping clients understand patterns, build practical coping strategies, and improve emotional regulation in a structured and approachable way.
