About Amanda
Amanda is finishing her Masters of social work with a trauma-informed practice clinical specialization. She has experience working in social services across multiple populations and areas of focus, but has focused on providing specialized supports to individuals experiencing domestic violence.
Outside of work, she loves to cook, craft, and binge watch tv shows!
During her practicum, she has developed a strong focus on anxiety, ADHD, self-esteem, identity issues, grief and life transitions, and relationship issues. She incorporates therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy and Narrative Therapy to meet each client's unique needs.
